This bill would make a gun in the car a protected status, like if your Southern Baptist employer finds a Torah or Watchtower Magazine in your car and fires you for it. I don't have as much stock in this bill, since I won't work for any employer who does random vehicle searches. If they find out by some other method, then I'm not concealing as well as I should. OTOH, carrying prohibitions are pretty much a moot point for me at the moment unless somebody slips in a change to the security regulations. I don't plan to make a career out of this job, but this isn't exactly a good time to change jobs, either.
