*If* it would get common enough for ammo to be easily available, I'd look at getting one for my wife; she's not likely to ever want to carry a .357, and this would give her a bit more than a .38+P plus an extra shot.

Of course, this assumes she won't just get herself a 1911. She shoots my Gov't Model pretty well, and doesn't mind the recoil or the weight at all.
