I just returned from a mission trip to West Africa and my CHL license was waiting for me!
So...completed the CHL class in mid April
Application submitted on May 6th
Plastic on September 8th

I am also a pastor who carries. Besides the deacons, I would be surprised if anyone else knows. It's also encouraging that many others in the church carry as well.

Certainly no expert here....I am comfortable with a pistol after 200 rounds. The only issue I have ever had is with a Glock 19. At just over 100 rounds it failed to eject twice from the same magazine. Shot 200 more rounds through the glock without a hitch. As for concealability - I carry a full size...

TXDPS has had my application, confirmed with registered mail receipt, since May 08th. I received my PIN in the mail yesterday, June 19th. I also received a response to my email inquiry sent on the 18th with my PIN. Website just says "processing application.

I have been carrying a XDM 9mm (19+1) in a Crossbreed Supertuck. I'm 5'3' and losing weight fast at 133lbs. I completed my CHL class today. My question is concerning my wife. She is a German citizen and has been a legal resident (green card) here for 20 years. Does she qualify for a CHL?
