i would go with either parkerized or hard chrome. keltecs bluing is not the best quality.

The sign I saw was a hand painted sign. It was at a beach park. They have a stand that sells beer but I doubt that it's an actual 51% location. Most people bring third own.

Just wanted to make sure: does a 51% sign have to be an actual, formal sign to be compliant? Will a copy or hand painted sign on a piece of plywood be compliant?

i called them the other day and asked if they had a certain gun. He said they had it and the guy sounded very helpful, his name was larry, also the price he gave me was much lower than anywhere else, over $200 less. Too bad im not able to get out there til next week sometime..

Thanks for all the info. I currently carry a Glock 27. I also have a pt145 that I sometimes carry. The pt145 is a double stack .45, maybe the warthogs grip is about the same thickness? The pt145 fits my hand perfect, as long as the warthogs grip isn't similar in thickness to the glock 30 I'll be hap...

para ordnance warthog
anyone have any experience with the para ordnance warthog? looks like a nice gun. been looking for a compact 1911 and i love that this one holds 10 rds. Have never seen one in person so any info is appreciated.

anyone use a blade tech mag holder? i just bought one for my pt145, its the one on the left and the one on the right is for my glock. I ordered the mag holder for left side carry, right hand shooter. i think they send me one for right side carry left hand shooter, look at the side the screws are on....

Your good. It does take some torque to turn those rings. There is a tool
that is made for installing them. you can also use a 1in pipe or dowel.

went out there last week. it is not the nicest looking place but that doesnt bother me. its a place to shoot and its close to home. i dont remember the range fee but it was pretty reasonable. the guy and his wife working there were very nice. and they had all kinds of ammo in stock. ill probably go ...

seems to me like unholstering the gun and sitting it inside, on my underwear between my legs is the way to go. i usually carry an extra mag on my belt, maybe im just paranoind here but should i worry about that being seen? also should i wory about the holster being seen?

I usually try to avoid public toilets when i have to go "#2" but sometimes you just have to go. i have no problem using a urinal without removing my holster and gun. in the event that i have to use a toilet what would be the best thing to do... remove gun from holster and sit it on top tp ...
