Before any of you fall into this family's lawyer's trap and decide the deputy fired "too many" shots or fired "after the threat had ceased", take some time to study the effects of life-or-death stress on a human's sympathetic nervous system, including the visual and auditory distortions and reduced ability to properly control fine motor skills.

Then decide if the split-second time between when YOU think gunfire SHOULD have stopped (based on the perspective of a video you can watch multiple times at your leisure) and when the gunfire actually stopped is sufficient to question this deputy's actions and intentions.

Finally, decide whether you want YOUR innocence based on a lawyer-provoked Monday morning armchair analysis if YOU are, God forbid, ever involved in a life-or-death incident.
