Wouldn't honking the horn and drawing attention maybe get the pistol turned in your direction?
Maybe.
But the way I picture it is I'll be in a vehicle far enough back to provide me a quick retreat.
If bullets did come my way, the engine block provides a little protection since I would most
likely be facing them straight on.

I know there are a lot of factors involved, but I just can't see totally abandoning someone who is in serious need of help.
I think the horn thing might make them stop and possibly save the victim from being harmed further.

Besides, I think most BG's are just cowards and I would hope they would just cut their losses and get out of Dodge if they know they've been noticed.

Immediately call 911 while hanging back and using the horn to draw attention.
I would want the BG's to know there is someone watching and summoning help.

The most important thing would be getting a license plate number and good description of the perps.

As has been said ..a CHL is not a Batman License.

Or, I might block their escape route and engage them in a firefight...But I'd probably choose the first option.

She had just left the bank and stopped at the car wash on her way to work.

She had noticed another vehicle in car wash but didnt think much of it.
Do you think they followed her from the bank knowing she had money with her?
Or was the car already there upon her arrival at the carwash ?

Not too long ago there was a rash of robberies here
where people were being followed and targeted after leaving an area bank.
