That's my understanding of it. Or if it DOES strike the primer and it detonates, it's a very light indentation on the primer, meaning it could in the future not strike it hard enough to go bang.

thanks, wth my taurus millennium pro, it has a "second strike capability" due to it being a DA/SA. to date i've never encountered this problem, but from what i understand this is a good feature.
