I stopped at a LGS today after a range visit. The salesman pulled a new Ruger LCP out of a Ruger box with a label that said "LCP-TEX" Also, on the side of the box it was marked, "For sale to Texans only." Inside was a Ruger LCP with a Texas Star on the top of the slide near the rear sight, and a coyote howling with a full moon in the background near the front of the slide. On the sides it said, "Coyote Special." The were NOT decals, but screened onto the slide. If this is NOT a Ruger factory deal, then kudos to the savvy marketeer who thought this up. Sorry for the lousy cell phone pics.
