My hunting buddy and I were headed back to DFW from Childress and picked up the trooper with a radar dector on 287 just south of Decatur on Sunday afternoon. It saved my buddy "another" quail hunting trip speeding ticket!

I did have a simalar encounter with a game warden on Saturday. When he asked for ID and hunting license, I handed over DL, CHL and hunting license. He looked at CHL and handed it back with no comment, looked at DL and handed it back, and studied hunting license before moving on to another hunting party where a guy admitted to shooting a deer, but did not have any tags removed from his license. That is going to be an expensive deer! :txflag:
