well doggone! I never saw this thread. We did haul our junk to the range today. I apologize for not seeing this until now. I was planning a range trip in Corpus Christi this weekend, but I got called this morning to head up here for a day or three.
I often get an emergency rig call to this area during the week, and I always fly up for those. In those instances I can only bring a pistol, since my checked baggage is already so darned heavy.
I have my Romy AK with me this time, and I wanted to fire a few magazines through it. I haven't fired it in a while. Most of my 7.62x39 ammo goes through my unissued Yugo SKS these days.
So, if you think you want to go next time, send me pm, and i'll let tyou know what i'm up to.
I work for a cable company and ISP. So, there are lots of times i think I'm going to do something and get called away. I got a call out today while we were at the range, but got lucky and called in a favor from my co-worker.
I guess the same sort of thing that brings you here, might keep me from going out to play also. But I will certainly give it a try.
