Thanks to all again. If I have to go, I might just survive it and have some fun as well.

Thanks all for the info. If I have to go, it will not be for several months so I'll have time to check out the websites you suggest. I have decided the safe and most all of it's contents will have stay with my folks as I don't want any more than necessary registered in any way in California. I might...

California

How’s this for worst case scenario. I may have to move to the Los Angeles area for professional and financial reasons. I will only have a two year commitment, so I can get back to Texas in a couple of years. If I do have to move there, I am apprehensive about being in a “gun unfriendly environme...

Regular carry when clothing allows is a Glock 27 IWB with 1 spare mag on belt, cell phone on belt, and a bug. BUG or primary carry in business cloths without a coat is Keltec .32 in pocket ( and a cell phone and a knife). I figure I can at least always have something. I just don't trust the 380 kelt...

Yep, the holster was a cover up. I couldn't tighten the screw enough to keep the clip from moving on my particular holster. I just added a rubber washer bought at Lowe's between the clip and the holster which tightened the connection and fixed the problem.

Another story about how bad things happen when you pull your pants down or up. When I pulled my pants up after after a visit to the crapper, my Tucker inside the pants holster swiveled on the belt clip and dumped the Glock 27 down my pants leg - muzzle up! I had no choice but to run my hand down my ...

I even carry an extra mag for my keltec .32. When I carry a real gun (usually a Glock 27), I have a reload for it, the keltc, and a reload for the keltec. As others have said, it is not so much for the extra ammo, but for the extra mag in case if a malfuntion. Let's all remember that no matter what ...

Carry at work

My employer has a company rule forbidding employees from carrying firarms on premise. There are no signs preventing customers with CHLs from carrying in the establishment. Am I risking anything except my job if I disregard the rule and carry anyway? Someone told me once that I would also be guilty o...

I live in East Texas, and during the summer you just can't beat and IWB holster and an untucked Polo or heavy T shirt. Even in moderate weather I'll use the same method with a long sleeve pull over shirt. You just need to practice and make sure you can clear the garment and present the pistol when n...

Hello all, I really have never taken an interest in an internet forum before (though I have lurked occasionally), but this one begins with the subject that most concerns me - concealed carry in Texas. I live in Texas. I carry a handgun (or two) whenever I can, because I think I need to and because i...
