A couple of guys here report buying their Taurus PT-1911's in the range of $500. Wish I could have found one for that price. I tend to be an impulse buyer when it comes to guns. I saw it at Carter Country in Houston and had to have it. I didn't quibble about the $720. price tag. I guess that is why I'm not a rich man these days.

I have a Taurus PT-1911B with Heine sights and night sights. I love this gun. Accurate and reliable and not fussy about the ammo used. Colts are nice, but very expensive. My Taurus was about $720.00.
