oh I AGREE . but i thought he wanted a certain price pointRPBrown wrote: ↑Thu Nov 03, 2022 6:28 amI have several 1911's but all are single stack. I was looking for a double stack and may look at the Para (if I can find one) or the STI. I would rather stay with 45 but may have to move to 9mm for double stack. Not any heavier than carrying a spare mag.powerboatr wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 9:40 pm i have several spring fields
only one is a 1911 and that is a ronin model its a very comfy carry but single stack
the others are 2 compact and one full sized 9mm and 45 in double stack great little dudes to carry and great to shoot
the xd 9, 4 inch barrel is my most carried, its a perfect size and weight for me
the sub compact xd 45 is a handful with 13 rounds, it lets you know the 45 rounds are heavy, but it is a easy fire and easy to hold your point of aim
but with a short barrel its LOUD .
my fav 1911 is our colt circa 1967 , its one smooth operator in the black chrome
Carl, I also have the Wilson and you are correct. It is one of the best 2 that I own. It is an older full size in 45 but I carry it often.

wilson combat was not even on my list, not sure why because i have handled a few at the range and was envious of the owner.
