Charles
Rather than try to explain in my own words what took place at the DC dot com site, let me post a link to the thread that has all the info. I believe that "Bumper", the site admin, has is all cleared up now.... it apparantly explains the issue at GlockTalk as well:
http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulletin ... ite-5.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I believe the "cure" (and possible prevention) are discussed on page 5 of the thread.
Hope this helps with future planning for protection here.

Virus Attacks on Gun Related Sites
There seems to be a rash of virus/malware attacks on gun related sites in the last few weeks. A couple of weeks ago we (I'm an admin) got hit at the KT Range dot com site and it's been a nightmare cleaning up. Yesterday (06/23) the Defensive Carry dot com site was hit and is currently causing a real mess, and folks there said that GlockTalk (I'm not a member there) was hit very hard.
I'm not sure who will be next, but I hope Charles and the esteemed group of admins here can head it off at the pass. It's gonna be a tough ride it seems.
