Yes I was talking about just the grip without the stock. I got one from Pachmayer for shock absorption but, it just doesn't work for me and I was wondering if there really was any advantage to them , I guess not John

When I bought a Maverick shotgun for home defense, I also got a pistol grip for it. I have tried several scenarios (breach open and unloaded) with it and the only advantage I see is in very close quarters IE. around door ways. It seems to be a kind of unstable with both hands moving around. I was wondering if I should work more on this or just throw the grip in the "didn't work drawer" Thanks John
