Re: TxDOT revokes Ft. Worth man's anti-Trump vanity plate "JAIL 45".

The state of Texas does not have any problem OK'ing vanity plates with gun themes.

In Denton County's Hickory Creek and Highland Village, I have seen these: 45 ACP and 45 AUTO.

In Collin County's Plano and Frisco, I have seen these: SIG NINE, SIG 45, and 2A-4VR.

If anyone has seen any gun-themed vanity plates, please share on this thread.

TxDOT revokes Ft. Worth man's anti-Trump vanity plate "JAIL 45".

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/01/jail-4 ... offensive/

An anti-Trump Fort Worth man requested license plate "JAIL 45", since he believes the 45th president should be imprisoned.

He was issued the plates, and put them on his 2011 white Mustang, next to his "Beto" sticker. Someone took offense, contacted TexDOT, and they revoked his plate.

Hundreds of proposed vanity plates are turned down each year by TexDOT, but in a recent fiscal year, only 12 plates were revoked after being issued.

I don't agree with his politics, but I don't see that he was harming anyone with it.

Read further in the post about proposed vanity plates that were not allowed by the state.

Those that know me should know I'm kind of up on license plate trivia, so of course I had to post this when I saw it. :-)
