Just remember to steal them with an MSRP less than $750. If you don't plan to re-sell them, the DA has given you his blessing to keep them. :-)

The DA went on to say further that if the person stole the items for resale, he would be more inclined to prosecute.
But if the thief just kept the stolen items for him/herself, that could be ignored.
What kind of hinky logic is that?
The new policy, it seems, would allow lazy people to steal anything up to $749, as long as it was for personal use, and not resale. Sheesh.
