Re: NC: Marine uses three .45 rds from 1911, kills home inva

IIRC, on a recent Tom Gresham "Gun Talk" show, he had a guest on who said that caliber was not
that important.

But to stop the threat generally requires 2 to 3 rounds, of whatever caliber you are firing.
That seems logical: if you put 2 to 3 rounds into a threat, you are doubling or tripling your chances of
hitting something that will stop the threat. Either psychologically or by degrading some physical aspect of the BG.

Whenever I open a thread, I try to be economical with words and phrases, in order to make the subject line
as long and detailed as possible. I'm a hater of the one word, totally useless subject lines, requiring me to open
them and read them to find out what the heck it may be about.

Beiruty: No, it was not in Texas. The first 2 letters of the subject line, "NC", represent North Carolina.

Yes, we can affirm (read the story) that this was the worst "trip" that the nude home invader
had ever been on.

Takeaways from this story:
Don't do drugs.
Don't break into people's homes, especially Marine homes.
When the homeowner tells you he's got a gun, don't say that you want a gun too.
