The shooter states that he put 4,000 grains downrange with the 16 rounds he fired.

That would equate to 250 grain ammo. The standard .45 = 230 grains. Are 250 grain .45's available?

He made a comparison with 9MM's. If you shot 4,000 grains of 9, each round would = 133 grains, which would
be pretty close to a 124 grain, commonly available 9MM round.
