I would say Mr. Fort Hood Madman was sufficiently annoyed by 4 rounds of
European-inspired lead to cease his aggression towards innocents.

Some people say "I shoot a .45 because shooting twice is silly",
but I have a 9 with 11 shots on tap.

I don't mind shooting twice or 11 times. That's what they are in the magazine for !! :-)

If the military cared to preserve the evidence, it seems that the
bullets recovered from the bad guy's body could be forensically tested
in order to determine which police officer fired which bullets.

Both LEO's guns were M9's. It's highly likely that they were using the same
brand of ammo.

Even with those 2 similarities, forensic testing should determine who
fired which rounds into the perp, IMHO.

Credit where credit is due is fair.

As long as it turns out that Officer Munley hit the BG with at least 1 round,
she can be an inspiration for women shooters everywhere. And if a 5'2" woman
can stop evil with her 9, maybe some other women will move up from a mouse gun
to something more substantial.
