My expectation of gun manna from heaven (Taurus compensating
us) would be to get a new PT111 Pro for a similar PT111 with the drop
problem.

A PT1911 would be a greater jump up the Taurus food chain.

The PT1911 is definitely under consideration by me for a future gun.
I want the duotone one, which IIRC, is stainless with black.

That bad boy would look good on my hip.

Well USA1, me, and many other forum members (74novaman?) are quite sobered by your news item.

If our guns get recalled and Taurus offers us some kind of trade, I wonder which Taurus
models would have manual safeties which work properly. If the newer models have working
safeties, I could move to a PT111 Pro and move up from my current 10+1 to the newer 12 + 1
model.
