During a kidnapping incident, the time when things are most "up for grabs" is at
the beginning of the incident. Resist the bad guy's attempt to tighten his control
over you.
The bad guy is trying to get you under his control. Fight, fight, fight from
the beginning. Do the most un-ladylike things you can think of to stop him from
getting you further under his control.
Having the 2 of you in the same vehicle is bad. Driving to a more desolate area
is worse. Being handcuffed or duct-taped is worse.
Scream bloody blue murder!! Use your keys to poke his eyes. Throw your keys into the
bushes if he's intending to use your car to kidnap you. Kick him in the groin. If you are going
to scratch his eyes out with your fingers a frontal attack may be seen by him and thwarted.
Instead, reach your hands upward from under his chin. He won't see this attack as easily and
you can scratch at his eyes.
Do these things even if he has a weapon. If he shoots you in a shopping center parking lot with
people around he will probably flee without you, and you have a chance to get 911 help
to attend to your wounds.
A sad example of the above is the nice college girl from Minnesota who attended the Univ
of North Dakota @ Grand Forks. She left her job at the mall, was kidnapped by a convicted
rapist who had a knife, and her dead body was found months later. She got into his car since
she was at knifepoint, but that allowed her to be more fully controlled, and eventually murdered.
Believe this - If he will shoot you in a crowded place, he will shoot and KILL you in a more
private place.
If you have a gun be mentally prepared to shoot the bad guy multiple times with it.
Keep shooting until the threat is OVER. If you have to empty your revolver or magazine,
do it.
One shot will probably not do it. There are many reports of bad guys who are shot
multiple times by LEO's or armed citizens and are still able to shoot back.
DO NOT flinch from killing someone who has evil actions.
DO NOT believe that merely showing him the gun will make him back off. Bad guys
are crazy and need to be SHOT with a gun, not just SHOWN a gun.
Let's be careful out there ladies.
