Your wine story is a riot. There's been research done into wines where they had cheap and
expensive wines and they kept moving around the price tags.
You guessed the results - When a wine had a more expensive price on it, everyone liked it
better.
There was a wine store in Dallas (I can't remember the name) that held wine-tasting seminars where
you could learn about wine. Well, of course if you are a yuppie that needs that kind of a class,
you are setting yourself up for this wine store's scam.
What they would do is sell you a case of cheap wine worth, say $50, but charge you $200 for it.
Hey, they were the ones giving the class. It MUST be worth $200, right?
There's a sucker born every minute.

My apologies to you sir for dogging your gun. You are the only person I know who has
one of these. They never get any coverage on the forum until now.
Reliability is a great virtue of anything you own. I'm glad that you are having a positive
experience with your weapon. Since it goes bang each time it should, you are golden.
All guns can have problems - even Kimbers that have to travel back to their home for a re-do.

Re: JIMENEZ ARMS!
Well, that sounds like quite the ringing endorsement there ninemm!!ninemm wrote: just as sometimes one will get a high-end gun that has problems, occasionally someone gets a crap gun that functions well.
I have seen these at the gun shows and was amazed at the cheapness of them. They looked like the
first round through them would blow them up. The OP pretty much confirmed that prediction.
If all anyone can afford is a self-destructing gun due to their budget, it might be best to just try to
wrestle the bad guy for HIS gun. He probably has something more reliable.
And how about Highpoints? To me they are another range accident waiting to happen.

By the way, the bad guy who was shot to death in the South Florida Burger King was using a Bryco .380.
Unfortunately the BG's gun worked OK and he put 3 rounds into the GG CHL, who was severely wounded but lived.
The GG CHL was able to kill the BG with multiple rounds from his Glock 9MM, model unknown.
This incident was covered in a forum thread elsewhere.
