I have seen still photos and video of the surgical procedures that change a person's gender from their birth gender to their opposite gender.
They are horrifying and irreversible.

Although these trans people are trying their own brand of "pursuing happiness", I feel sorry for them when their gender dysphoria remediation attempts result in a life of depression and romantic dead ends.

Recently on a Dallas talk show, a 30 year old woman called in. She said that as a young girl, she was a tomboy and complained if Mom put a dress on her. Her mother did not replace her hormones or condone surgery, as might be expected of pro-trans parents today. This woman eventually embraced her femininity and has left her tomboy period behind.
