CT about to prove registration leads to gun confiscation.

The state of Connecticut, after Sandy Hook, passed legislation requiring owners of AR-15's to register them with full contact information, brand of AR-15, serial number, and any unique identifying characteristics. "You can keep your guns, we'll grandfather you in" they promised.

Now, the governor of CT is seriously considering confiscating ALL of these registered AR-15's, ignoring the previous "grandfather" promises.

I could not find the original article in which I read about this, but I believe only 11,389 CT owners registered their AR's. Many people did not.

If this is to pass, there is no idea how CT LEO's would go about seizing their weapons.

I feel bad for our CT 2A friends, but if this egregious confiscation occurs, the NRA/GOA/TSRA will have solid evidence for all to see, that the end game for anti-2A's is to confiscate our firearms. IIRC, NYS also requires AR-15 registration, and that state's compliance numbers were also low.
