If an abusive husband was willing to beat (and kill?) his wife/ex-wife, re: domestic violence concerns, he's not going to refrain from carrying his pistol because of a protective order. :banghead:

Sadly, he's my senator :-/ He will never change his spots on gun control.

Gun Owners of Maine created a free online training course; eventually the state police officially accepted proof of completion of that course as meeting the requirements for a carry permit! Great private/public partnership.

Gun Owners of Maine created a free online training course; eventually the state police officially accepted proof of completion of that course as meeting the requirements for a carry permit! Great private/public partnership.

I called Patrick's office, and emailed my senator.

OTOH, my senator is Whitmire, so a snowball's chance in Hell of moving him off of his anti-gun stance.
