He's a good guy, matter of fact, ex-military, but not too hard-core and not condescending at all but very patient. Had an older lady probably in her 70's in our class and he treated her well (along with everyone else). Very professional and helpful and definitely one-stop shopping. I went to the class, paid my fee, got fingerprinted, he helped with all the forms, and a month or two later, my plastic showed up. So far, I haven't learned anything that disagrees with anything he taught in the class. He also has an advanced weapons class, and that might be more of a weapons training class. Check him out at lonestarhandgun. Can't imagine a better instructor for CHL. Teaches at 3 locations around S.A. + Killeen.
+1 for Josh. I got mine through him at the Bass Pro Shop. All paperwork, photos, fingerprinting, is checked and double checked. Zero errors on mine and back in 69 days ( a very, VERY long 69 days, but still shorter than some.) He is interesting, not overwhelming, extremely helpful and my wife will go there if she ever decides not to take her safety to chance (she carries in the car, but not on person.)

Highly, HIGHLY recommend Josh and his crew.
