I think he put up a gun for sale that a buddy in the Round Rock PD was trying to sell in the past, which would explain why you thought that. :cheers2:

My memory might be wrong on that, though.

I'm flying back from New England and about to board my connection.

Shooter and civilian also dead.

Brian was serving an eviction notice.

I'll know more when I get home later tonight.
Glad you're okay. So sorry that you lost a friend. From everything I've been able to find on the guy, he was a great man. :tiphat:

Re: Active Shooter In College Station 8/13

They're reporting the Constable who was murdered is 41. According to Gigag04s profile he's 30, so that's good news.

Still a terrible event though. Thoughts for everyone involved.

Re: Active Shooter In College Station 8/13

If I was still a student, with all the craziness that's been happening this year I'd be seriously considering some deep concealment options. :???:

Really hope GigAg is okay. Hopefully he'll log on tonight.

It is a low rent area so that's possible.

If you're referring to GigAg, I believe he works for another agency in the area.

I'm sure he knows the guys involved though and may have been part of the response, so I hope he's doing okay.

Re: Active Shooter In College Station 8/13

Wow, looks like a bad situation.

Hope the cops pull through, and I'm glad they managed to arrest this guy instead of him getting the easy way out through suicide. I hope he rots in jail.

If this had happened next week, it would have been really chaotic. Move in week always has insane traffic, tons of out of town folks, etc.....the only positive is this happened after Summer Graduation and before Fall semester. One of the quietest times in town.
