Interestingly enough the FBI investigation concluded he had no racist ties. I guess we'll throw all that out the window based on one persons accusations though.

Some think this is a way to keep "investigating" until our 24/7 news cycle finds something new to whine about....

Some think a grand jury wouldn't call for an indictment, so she's going to do so herself just because of political pressure/threats.

I honestly don't know which it is, and wouldn't bet money on either possibility. Could go either way, easily depending on what type of person she is.

Difference there is the kid came into her store with a gun drawn, so it was a clear cut, open and shut type situation.

Because Martin was unarmed, the Zimmerman case is slightly more contrived.

Media can't scream about how the kid about to hold up the store "wasn't doing anything" like they can about Martin (despite some evidence to the contrary coming to light recently that he may have attacked Zimmerman and thrown the first punch)

With all due respect, I don't think there's going to be much consumption of crow. The rabble rousers will cry "cover-up", and much of the rabble will follow like good sheeple. Sad, but it's the way of life. Too many have chosen to be victims, and refuse to let go of the title, evidence or not.

You're right, I haven't been. Like most iffy self defense cases, I figured the facts in this one were going to take a while to sort out and it was going to be nothing to speculation for a while.

Interesting that the PD is under investigation too. We honestly won't know one way or the other everything that happened until something this messy goes to trial, I bet.

And a counter question: So if the public is out there screaming for his arrest because they think it was a racially motivated killing, and the Holder Justice Dept (you know, the one that dismissed the voter intimidation case against billy club carrying uniformed Black Panters, and the one that probably had a hand in Fast and Furious) arrests him, will it be because they have evidence against him or because they're pandering to a voting block?
