THANK you, this is exactly the realization that I have come to lately, but better worded. If my home is ever set upon by the New World Order Global Community Police, and it comes time to make use of the few boxes of ammo I've got stored, it wouldn't really matter if I had one box or ten boxes...I wouldn't really have the option to use them all. For after the first box gets opened and used, I had better have some fake passports and a private jet, or a country cabin that's off the grid. So I choose to store only one box for my End of the World scenarios, and keep only as much extra as I plan to shoot at the range in the near future (since it's usually cheaper to buy in advance than at said range).

But yeah, this hoarding nonsense drives me crazy, too! What's a little guy like me to do, who simply wants a few boxes here and there for practice, but oh wait, nothing's available?!! :mad5
