There's always more applicants than openings so they must be paying enough.

I agree with you about trying to make it happen in the middle of a string.

Think about this. If they got them out of committee and on the calendar in a timely fashion, they wouldn't have been affected by the 11th hour chubbing.

Re: CHL Improvements in DPS Sunset Bill
2. You still have a duty to display your CHL when asked for ID by a LEO, but the penalty for failing to do so was repealed. (Remember, this doesn't go into effect until Sept. 1, 2009, nor am I suggesting that you ignore this duty.) What does this mean exactly? does it mean there's no legal penalty ...

Whenever I read a story like this I wonder if they were horsing around and made up the cleaning story as an excuse.

Re: WTB 12ga Single Houston
I didn't score at the gun show. Any suggestions for places around Houston that have used guns at reasonable prices? I'm not having any luck at my local pawn shops.
If you have a 12ga single or 10/22 you want to sell me, that's cool too.

How will your average Dick and Jane react when that 6ft African American male walks into a store with a firearm on his waist (please don't consider me racist :???: but you know what I'm getting at) N...

The sight picture is basically the same for a revolver and a semiauto. Operating the trigger is basically the same for a revolver and a semiauto especially if we compare DAO to DAO. The big differences in operation are loading the gun, making safe, and clearing a malfunction. I don't see anything wr...

If it wasn't discernible through ordinary observation until the cops opened the door to the car, how is that different than a handgun that's not discernible through ordinary observation until a cop opens your jacket? Or a woman's purse?

Hey, I just noticed I've been promoted to Senior Member on the forum. I wonder if Charles has put my Texas CHL Forum Sr. Member badge in the mail yet? :woohoo You should check on its status twice a day on the website. There was a mixup. I got this in the mail yesterday. http://i44.tinypic.com/9kz0u...

It sounds like a great job for someone with family or friends in the burglary business.
Does it look like an open carry badge?Workers can be identified by the official Census Bureau badge they carry, Jackson said.
