I have one of those too - and like it. Used periodically with lightweight semi when at hunting lease. But ..... in the opinion of honcho lady from DPS at Instructor Conference a week or three ago, they would probably not meet the "belt holster" definition.

I conceal carry using horizontal shoulder holster but doubt I would ever openly carry that way, actually doubt I would open carry period but I do like having the option or more so no worries if do accidentally show. I guess it's just the visual of seeing it cause as someone else mentioned no telling how many you don't see doing the same thing. Only way I would probably openly carry would be with a drop leg / thigh holster. Just due to my size I find it uncomfortable with regular belt type holster.
