Recommended CHL Class

My son is on terminal leave from the Air Force and would like to get his CHL class and application completed soon. I've done forum searches and looked through the Class & Training area but nothing specifically talked about classes and/or venues that others like.

We are in the South Houston (Pearland, Friendswood, League City) area so anywhere in Houston would be good.

So, anyone have a recommendation for a excellent class with a very knowledgeable instructor? I'm hoping for a class taught by someone like Excalibur, someone who is the voice of reason, and does not advocate coming out "gun blazing" for every situation. Someone who will teach de-escalation / avoidance at the first, second and third resort and the use of one's weapon as a last resort, when all lesser means have failed or cannot be reasonably employed...

In other words, someone who will teach gung-ho young men that the true weapon is your mind, and the pistol is a tool that should hopefully not have to be used if you engage your mind first etc.

The greatest fear I have (second to having a loved one murdered) would be to have to see my son incarcerated because he wasn't properly trained.

Thanks in advance for your time in responding.
