Re: DFW FMJ Ranges?
On a side note, I've seen that optic rule at other ranges too. I love optics. I love what we have available today for our selection of modern day optics. We are rather blessed. I just don't want to put them on every rifle that I want to fire a few rounds through. In particular my C&Rs that I am ...

Re: DFW FMJ Ranges?
From what I have read about Elm Fork, they like most ranges in the area have a problem with ammo that uses steel (steel core, bi-metal jackets, etc) such as most of the surplus ammo and the Wolf/Tula stuff. Have they changed their stance? I do intend to get deeper into reloading, but some days you j...

Re: DFW FMJ Ranges?
I'm a platinum member at Extreme Defensive Shooting Range . It is a private range (not really a club). So regarding your requirements: No ammo restrictions (+10 for minimal ammo restrictions (allows FMJ/steel-case/steel-core/bi-metal jacket/etc)) Rifle is only 100 yards, but the owner has the land ...

DFW FMJ Ranges?
Greetings, It's been a while since I've shot any of my rifles just from being busy and such. A few new purchases have me interested in finding a new go-to rifle range. I shoot several calibers from .22LR to .30-06. Finding a rifle range isn't the problem. Finding one that will let me shoot FMJ/steel...

Re: FFL transfers in Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney
I hope that no one has any complaints about me breathing a little life into an old thread. However, I just wanted to share a slightly different but still positive experience I had doing a recent transfer with Tom. Tom helped me with a few transfers back when things were a bit slower. More recently, ...

Re: Norinco 1911 .45 in excellent condition
Is your Norinco stamped made in "China" or "Turkey"?
Does it have any rattle in the frame at the moment?
Thanks!

Re: FFL transfers in Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney
For anyone in the area looking to do a transfer, I would easily recommend Tom Hart. I did a few with him recently. He was patient, informative, and got the job done swiftly without any hassles. I was originally leaning towards giving my business to a notable pawn shop in the area that was convenient...

Re: SPF--WTS NIB HK P30 V3 - $725 FTF Frisco (North DFW)
Hey killerquad, Thanks again for the smooth transaction. I finally had a chance to clean up and break-in the HK this weekend. It performed like a champ right out of the box. I have lots of confidence that it will serve me well in the future. It's a shame you had to give it up... well, for you... but...
