Had to be push started (it had an electric starter, but it didn't work and parts were unfindable) ... but was easy to do. Rust everywhere, not very street legal. Don't recall what we ever did with it.
My first car was a Renault 10.
Had an electrical problem no one could figure out. My dad used to say "Ren-nalt".
Second car was a 70 some thing yellow Pinto hatch back that threw a rod one day.
But until then that thing started up instantly on the coldest of days in Chicago.
There is some thing about even your first hunk of junk cars that you look back on with fond memories.
I keep telling my wife that someday I am going to throw a project Pinto up on blocks in the front yard.
