I did have a simalar encounter with a game warden on Saturday. When he asked for ID and hunting license, I handed over DL, CHL and hunting license. He looked at CHL and handed it back with no comment, looked at DL and handed it back, and studied hunting license before moving on to another hunting party where a guy admitted to shooting a deer, but did not have any tags removed from his license. That is going to be an expensive deer! :txflag:
I drive this route to New Mexico several times a year. The local PD's have a field day with tourists or any one who speeds for that matter. They cut no slack. The Valentine has paid for itself a dozen times over.
