For work carry to rise to the level of criminal trespass the wording of a written notification must follow the verbiage described under PC 30.06/30.07. In a written document, the 1" letter element doesn't apply.
That has nothing to do with the right to fire or sanction an employee for any reason, including carrying a gun or having bad breath.
So the distinction is between job loss or potential legal fines.
