Two others, including the manager, are great. They have spent time with me, answered my questions, etc. And I've purchased several guns from them as a result.

Go back, try another person. Don't be nervous. I still remember when gun store personnel used to carry sidearms. That'll make you a nervous, especially if you're new to the sport.
