The law should have cut off taxing authority and state funding for any college that chose to deny 1st or 2nd Amendment rights. Letting them get public money while claiming private property rights is un-American.
I think people often forget that getting these laws passed requires compromise. Fortunately we have a history of getting some of those compromises removed do n the road.
