You might want to go back and read my posts again. Jago is right, I have no need or desire for answers from [pre-paid legal]. I've attempted to communicate that several times. You asked why I would avoid [pre-paid legal]. I told you it was because they are not transparent or forthcoming. That is not just my opinion - that is the opinion of many that were potential customers who were not successful in obtaining basic information.
I provided some basic questions that anyone seeking legal representation should ask. If you have no desire to ask those questions of the people you are paying to represent you that is your business.

When do you plan on calling/emailing them? It seems to me if you go the Texas Sheild website and email the president your questions this can all be answered. Either they are as bad you say or they're not. There's no sense in going through all of this if you won't take it across the finish line.

For perspective if you could post your questions to Texas Sheild along with their answers and the same questions to your attorney along with his answers.

Why would I contact them? I'm not the one considering their services. You asked why I would avoid them and I told you why. The questions I suggested you ask are questions anyone considering legal representation should be asking and those questions should be answered without hesitation. No one asked you to post their responses, only if they answered the questions. Many members of this forum that were potential customers have attempted to obtain this information without success. if you are satisfied with the information you have received from them and you are a happy customer then my opinion about them shouldn't matter.
I'm curious, every time this comes up and a [pre-paid legal] customer calls [pre-paid legal] to ask these questions they all come back challenging others to post the answers to these questions from their own attorney even though no one has actually asked that the answers they received from [pre-paid legal] be posted. It makes me wonder if [pre-paid legal] is the one prompting people to make that request in order to avoid answering the questions.

Have you met the lawyer/s that would be defending you? Do you know how many criminal cases they have won/lost? Have you had the opportunity to shake that lawyers hand and look into his eyes and say "this is the guy I want to trust with my freedom"? If not, don't walk away - run!

I've never ask to meet with them so that fail is on me. I did ask when I signed up,if the attorney is a door knob can I swap out for someone else and they said yes.

Better check to see how many of the door knobs are stamped "made in China". I'm simply not willing to trust my life to a pool of attorneys I've never met.
This should be a simple request:
A list of attorneys in the pool
Win/loss record of each attorney
Average out of pocket expense for clients who have gone to court
Public records of the cases they have tried in court

May we see this list from your attorney ?

I was given his courtroom record and all the other information I requested in a one on one interview. Those who were reluctant to do so did not get my business. Were you given the option of a one on one interview with the lawyer who would be handling your case or do they have a clue who would be handling your case. Are they the Uber company of lawyers? Sign onto an app and the first kid who just passed the bar to respond on the app gets your case?

I'll check into it on Monday when the office is open. I have a 24/365 number for emergencies but normal questions need to be asked during regular business hours

My only agenda here is for people to ask questions and hopefully get answers. If you get acceptable answers to these questions and get a sit down meeting with the lawyer that would be assigned to your case please let me know. I would love to learn that I have been completely wrong in my suspicions. But until then, my momma always told me if it sounds too good to be true...
