Wrong. Please tell what leads you to believe this.

I assume you are referring to PC 46.035 (b) (4) which prohibits carry in hospitals licensed under chp 241.

(I) Subsections (b)(4), (b)(5), (b)(6), and (c) do not apply if the actor was not given effective notice under Section 30.06.

Which means that unless given 30.06 notice you can carry in a hospital (unless it is deemed a school) and a Church and an amusement park.

I think I would give more consideration to hiding it in the flower pot by the door than I would giving it to "security".

When we played basketball at the local courts we had a saying, "No blood no foul". I'd apply the same concept here. You did what you needed to do, nothing more nothing less. You obviously committed a foul by the "rules" of the game, but as noted earlier concealed is concealed. And of course, there was no blood. :mrgreen:
