My wife claimed ownership of one of my guns before she claimed me. Knew then we would never have gun issues.
She bought my first Glock, my first AR, and my first tactical shotgun. Now that the boys are getting old enough to shoot the bigger guns she's buying all that stuff for them. I am truly blessed.

If all else fails, have her empty her purse on the bed and then have her explain why she carries each of the items. If she is like many of the women I know, you will use your gun before she ever has a need for half the things in her purse.
