She assured me that they would take them down to 5.5 pounds if I had to send them back. She said it would only take two weeks as it will go to a different department than the recall department. She also stated that they did trigger jobs on XDs pistols and could take them down to 4 pounds but, because of the recall, they are not doing any "special" trigger jobs now.
I will need to borrow a gauge from a friend to see what I have. If they are over 7.7 pounds, they are going back to SA. Will update when I know more.
I'll let you know what I think about it once I get it installed and tested.

Hopefully some one comes out with a kit that improves the trigger. I know PRP had a spring kit before the recall - not sure if they have released one for post recall or not - or if it will help or not.Weg wrote:Got mine back last week, sent it in October. Wow, I don't know what to say. Thanks. It looks like I may be picking up a G19 in a trade Thursday (for a rifle that was living in the back of the safe). Just read the article, sounds like a paid advertisement to me. I have yet to hear from a board member or someone that I know and trust who even considers the trigger to be acceptable much less better. Again this is not what I'd hoped to hear. I'm not at all interested in a trigger like that.
