Easier to get your CHL and tell NICS to take a long walk off a short pier.

Been there done that. One of the most humiliating moments in my life. Can't get a more spotless record than mine and I have been denied once. The FFL treated me like a criminal after he hung up the phone. I think he actually put his hand on his gun until I left.
To say it is a flawed system is being kind. Just think if they did prosecute people who were denied. I could see it now, cops show up and haul me away in cuffs. Then I have to report that on my CHL app!
I'm not angry about it anymore. no, really. I'm not.
