I agree with TAM but my heart grieves at the reality of his statements.

Here lies the problem, as we all splinter into Independents, Tea Party members (which will undoubtedly split from the party), Libertarians, and so on, the Dems will seize even more power and all hope of ever returning to even the center will be lost.

What then? The constitution will be meaningless along with all of its amendments.

What then? Do we ban together to support Texas leaving the Union? Would there even be enough support within Texas to make that a possibility?

What then? Do we ban together and rebel against a corrupt government with our arms? Are there enough sheep dogs left in the country to hold out a fortnight?

What then?...

I agree with TAM, but my heart grieves not for what I might lose, but for what my 13 and 11 year olds may never experience.
