Good point, however, I would speculate that at the time of the Wedgewood shooting the number of CHL's in attendance was a fraction of what it is today if there were any present at all. FWIW, it was legal at the time, as churches (excepting notice via 30.06) came off the prohibited list Sept. 1, 1997, considerably prior to the shooting at Wedgewood.

If your pastor has already experienced a church shooting and is still entertaining the idea of 30.06 posting then IMHO he doesn't have a clue and is a lost cause. I could never attend a church or be pastored by some one who wanted to put a bulls eye on my family's back.
