Re: i have a private investigaror in front of my house helpm

If you really think the guy is up to no good, call one those investigative news action reporter types and get them to do a story on him. Bet they figure out who or what he is investigating.

Re: i have a private investigaror in front of my house helpm

So the PI has been there for 2 - 3 years and there are kids playing all over the neighborhood. During those years how many kids in the neighborhood have been abducted? How many have been molested?

You say you live in a great neighborhood. I can't imagine any decent neighborhood that would allow anyone to put a painted plywood sign leaned up against a ladder in their front yard.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this PI is one of the good guys because if he was anything else after all the stuff you've pulled you would have already been out tire shopping or have visited the ER to have your busted nose reset.

Re: i have a private investigaror in front of my house helpm

From what I could tell from a quick google search PIs are licensed and regulated by dps. It also appears that the regulations for obtaining said license is on par (if not more demanding) with a CHL.

So if you buy into the idea that CHLs are a trust worthy bunch because of the "clean bill of health" we receive as part of the application/approval process we go through, then I wouldn't think you would have reason to feel any differently about this guy.

So let's review:

The police say he is legitimate PI. This means he is a licensed private investigator in good standing with dps. So he is not a felon, he is not a registered sex offender, and he has a legitimate reason/right to be where he is doing what he is doing and he pays his taxes just like I assume you do.

So, if I am understanding you correctly, you have a problem with this law abiding individual exercising his God given rights because it makes you uncomfortable.
Sounds like the same argument used by those who seek to take away your guns. Be careful what you wish for.

Maybe he was hired by the wife of the guy with the 2 yo that comes to your house every day. Just saying.

Re: i have a private investigaror in front of my house helpm

How well do you know your neighbors? He is obviously investigating someone suspected of either cheating on a spouse or could be investigating some kind of fraud. If the police say he is legit, not really sure I understand what the problem is. Sounds like the guy is just trying to earn a living. Of course if you find out who he is watching and inform them that might move him along. Chances are he would just be replaced by someone else.

Sounds like to me that your problem is more related to one of your neighbors than it is a pi.
