Re: Pig hunt
I have been quite fortunate to see and shoot 4 hogs in three trips to the ranch, two out of the blind and two out of the pickup window. Usually I don't even see any or at least not able to get a shot. There are a lot of hogs on my friends ranch where I hunt. These were all smaller hogs (less than 12...

Okay. Thank you very much. I was just pulling it out of my head and that is any empty place these days.

Handgunlaw.com
Due to a trip that I was thinking of taking and wanting to make where carrying would be legal, I called up Handgunlaw and got a big banner saying that the domain was for sale. When I tried to check on other state laws on the site, nothing was there. Does anyone know of another similar site?

I question the additional training requirements but should be better than current no carry.

Thanks to all who tried to help with this question. I gave the above information to my Grandson and he will have to make a decision on what to do from here.

My Grandson lives in Florida and has Florida drivers License etc. Before he moved to Florida he got his Texas CHL which has his old Texas drivers license # on it. He has changed his address but cannot find how to change his drivers license over to Florida. He has tried unsuccessfully to call DPS. Ca...

Re: Years gone by
I read packing. org for several years, don't remember If I joined or not. Then there was a time before I found this site that was sort of a blank hole. I joined this site early 2006 but probably read it for a while before joining.

A friend uses .22 LR between the eyes to kill hogs in his trap. Has killed a lot that way.

Re: Your #1 Favorite Firearm you have
I have two favorites, both old: Windchester model 90, .22 WRF (.22 Special) that was my Dad's. Used all through WWII on the farm for everything from rabbits to butchering. Savage Model 99, .300 Savage. My folks gave it to me new in 1952 while in my Junior year in High School. I have shot considerabl...

Re: Bought a new Rossi 92 in .357/.38
I too just bought a new (to me) Rossi 92 in ,357/.38. My son picked it up a couple of weeks ago after seeing it advertised in Texas Gun Traders. It has the 16" barrel but should make a nice companion for my S&W .357. Haven't been to the range yet but there is still a possibility of this aft...
