A Concealed Handgun License and any type of law enforcement (or security) are very different animals. From time to time we hear about stories where a CHL runs into a mix of LEO and criminal trying to 'help'. Almost universally, that is a very bad idea. Your post has that ring to it. Maybe I read you wrong...
