I have stayed at both of these in the last year and the Doubletree was not the actual 30.06 sign at the time (Xmas 2009) and the Hilton as I recall was the same...bad sign. Regardless, concealed means just that. I wouldn't leave the gun in the car either way....
In as much as they had some sign posted legal or not, it shows the intent of a non gun friendly establishment.
IANAL and my memory might not be 100% on the Hilton. Either way the signs may have been updated since I was there.
I recomend the Lancaster....they are very nice, priced better and they have a town car to drop you off and pick you up for the local downtown stops and NO SIGNS. The Eggs Benedict Lancaster is to die for BTW.
There is also a Holiday Inn Express in the same area (by the toyota center) that is priced better than the Hilton.
